My work focuses on new media and installations based on light, sound and interactivity. I am interested in how technology affects our relationship to the world, and therefore I use it to give it a new purpose. Through immersive and interactive elements I try to provide a way to allow us to see and understand even elusive concepts. I enjoy documenting the process and exploring dead ends that lead nowhere.

This album is a statement about funeral rituals from around the world. It brings 11 recordings from different cultures and countries and tells of the diversity of approaches to death.

The design of the cover perceives death as an inevitable point to which we are all heading. The dominant feature of the cover is the hole in the middle, which passes through the front side, the 11-page booklet and even the vinyl itself, until it finally stops on the last white side. The layers of holes then form a tunnel with light at its end.

The graphics of the cover are completed by work with metal filings. It serves as a reminder that we will turn to dust one day as well. Metal dust has the property of being easily manipulated by magnetic attraction. So we can clearly determine its direction.
